FAQs

What type of Pilates do you offer?

We practice traditional Pilates, emphasizing form and attention to injury and preexisting conditions. For one-on-one sessions, we utilize the full range of Pilates equipment. We use the Mat, Reformer, spine corrector, and various props in group classes.

What do I need to bring with me?

Pilates grip socks (which can be purchased at the studio) are required for safety and hygiene purposes. Feel free to bring a bottle of water and comfortable clothes to move freely. No heavy perfumes and a hair tie are recommended.

How do I book a class?

You can book a class by visiting the Schedule on our website or the MINDBODY App. If you need further assistance, call or email the studio directly at:

Where can I park?

Customer parking is available in front of the building at the 37 Avenue entrance, and for evening classes, the parking garage is accessible from the 28 Street entrance. Free parking is also available across the street at Douglas Park, and street parking is available on either side of the building.

Do you offer specials?

Yes, we have 3 new client specials and occasionally publish discounted packages. Please view our Class Packages page for more information or purchase.

Is there a Cancellation Policy?

  • Group Classes: Cancellations made within 12 hours of the class are considered late cancellations and will result in a forfeited class or a Late Cancellation Fee.

  • One-on-one Sessions24-hour notice is required for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide at least 24 hours notice will result in the loss or charge for the missed appointment.

What if I arrive late?

We suggest that you arrive 5-10 minutes before class starts, especially for Newbies. We have a 15-minute grace period, so you can come in quietly and join us. For safety reasons, we may not allow entry more than 15 minutes after class has started. Clients on the Waitlist can take your spot if you are more than 5 minutes late to class.

Is there a Waitlist for full classes?

You can join the waitlist for any fully booked class. By doing so, you agree to attend if a spot becomes available—standard late cancellation fees or class forfeitures will still apply.

If you can no longer attend, please remove yourself from the waitlist. Failure to attend a class you were added to, even if assigned a spot within an hour of the start time, will result in a late cancellation fee or class forfeiture.

If a spot opens, you will be automatically enrolled and notified via email and/or text up to one hour before class begins. After that, the online waitlist will close, and any remaining spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis through our website, app, or for in-person drop-ins.

Which class is best for Beginners?

PANDORA Restore is mostly a stretch class, so it's easy to start. Otherwise, PANDORA Spine and PANDORA Body are multi-level classes that will familiarize you with Pilates. In general, our Reformer classes are designed to accommodate most levels. Each teacher offers a unique approach, but please read the description for more detailed information. Private sessions are strongly recommended for newbies to Pilates but are not required. We ask that first-timers notify the instructor before class to receive proper modifications during class.

Do you accept insurance for Physical Therapy?

PANDORA Pilates and Physical Therapy is a cash-based physical therapy service that does not accept insurance. However, we gladly accept payments through FSA, HSA, and HRA accounts. We also provide superbills for those with out-of-network benefits from their insurance carrier.
