Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy Sessions

Each Physical Therapy session employs hands-on therapeutic soft tissue mobilization, utilizing various techniques for injuries and soft tissue restrictions. Treatment methods may include the McKenzie technique, bone mobilizations, strain/counter-strain, trigger point release, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, and GRASTON-instrumented soft tissue mobilization.

Recommended Physical Therapy Treatments - usually 5 or 10 Sessions

Physical Therapy Evaluation

A session with a Physical Therapist will focus on assessment and evaluation, a discussion about a treatment plan, and essential recommendations for therapeutic movement at home. The session will also include hands-on manual therapy as needed and/or Pilates rehabilitative exercises as time permits.

Physical Therapy Session

A session with a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant targeting the tissue restrictions and limitations found during PT evaluation. More than half of the session is focused on manual treatment, applying various hands-on techniques following a specific rehab plan. Some hour-long visits will be spent on a home exercise program and introducing Pilates rehabilitative exercises. It is good for patients who suffer from pain, lack of mobility, and interruption to their daily lives.

Physical Therapy Massage

A Therapeutic massage by a Physical Therapist or a Physical Therapist Assistant which addresses one or more areas of the body suffering from chronic pain or tissue restriction. This option is ideal for those who need a manual therapy “tune-up” from time to time and have already been diagnosed by an MD and evaluated by a Physical Therapist in the past for the same condition(s).
